The WNBA Draft concluded Monday night from the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.

Iowa’s Caitlin Clark was the first overall pick in this year’s draft class, heading to the Indiana Fever to start her professional career. It was announced last week that the Fever will have 36 of its 40 regular season games air on national television this season.

Clark was a guest on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, sitting at the “Weekend Update” desk along with hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost.

Clark will join the last year’s No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, Aliyah Boston, who won Rookie of the Year last season with Indiana.

Stanford’s Cameron Brink went second in the draft and will head to Los Angeles to play for the Sparks. South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso was picked third by the Chicago Sky and will be joined by former SEC rival, LSU’s Angel Reese, who went seventh overall.

The WNBA season begins on May 14.
